The Way of the Heart
In this workshop we will consider the center of life energy itself – the heart. The heart chakra (Anahata) is where breath, emotion, and awareness conjoin. The significance of the heart cannot be overstated. It is the centerpoint of the flow of life, creating balance between our inner and outer worlds. Becoming aware of and connected to the way of the heart brings joy and peace. We will engage in gentle movement, locating and opening the heart center through yoga and Qi Gong. The second half of the workshop will deepen this through a practice of Yoga Nidra. Nidra is a restorative guided meditation that, in this case. will offer deep rest and an opportunity to reconnect with the wisdom of your heart. Facilitated by Cynthia McSwain, assisted by Katie Munger, Jen Rischard, & Sarah Bayze. No refunds within 24 hours of class.
